Hello everybody!!
We're finally in New York!
After waking up early (read 4.30!), and flying for several hours, we arrived at our destination.
At Newark Kat, our monitor, was waiting for us with a red t-shirt and a sign to take us to the hotel.
With her were students from all over the world, 3 kids from Thailand, Josefiina from Finland, Eva from Austria, Pamela from Colombia, that had lost her bag (but don't worry it's already found and coming tomorrow).
Right now we are sitting in the lobby of La Quinta hotel, listening to blasting Persian music coming from the Iranian bazaar that's going on. Definitely not something we would be experiencing in Alabama or Montana!
Tomorrow we are going to experience the "city that never sleeps". We're incredibly excited!!
We're going to see Manhattan, central park and various famous movie locations. We can't wait!
Stay tuned for more updates tomorrow evening!
