"I wanna wake up in the city that doesn't sleep" it was the opening song for today, March 16, 2009.
I loved that song so much because it was such an awesome song and it cracked me up because I agreed with the lyrics of the song.
I arrived in the Empire State. I went to the 86th floor. The first thing that came to my mind was King Kong because I could feel his feeling at that time.
I saw every single buildings in New York City. It was freezing; however, I had a lot of fun.
Then I walked to the largest Macy's in the world. I went there but things were too expensive. I couldn't afford it so I went to H&M instead. One of my friends, Caroline, was dying for her favorite store. She said that she hadn't been there for like 7 months already.
I was in rush to United Nations. The first thing I saw was "Supannahong",the royal boat for celebration of the King of Thailand. It was my favorite place and it made my day. I was so impressive for the effective goals of UN. They try to make the peace for the world. The last thing I did there was writing the postcard to my mom in Thailand and the special thing was it would be sent from UN not USA. The UN postcard said "Hi mom, look at the picture! this would be the my work place in the future. I want to represent my country, Thailand. :) Love, Joy"
After that we were all starvingggg! We walked to the Grand Central Station to have lunch which was the place in several movies such as Madagascar, Just My Luck, Superman, and many others. Me and Joy chose Chinese one, although we are Asians lol. We shared the same plate because it was too big for our bellies. We tought Caroline, Pamela, Kristin, and Lala how to use chopsticks too. It was kinda difficult for them but they made it!
Here we went again at the Rockefeller Center, but this time we went to the NBC and had a little time to shop after it. 'Sbarro' was the Italian restaurant that we had for dinner which was really good for us, I loved it <3 I'm still full by now though. But anyways after that we got to shop again, woohoooooooo ! Big time ! We went to many different stores. They are all interesting! I bet I would never get bored with this city, it never sleeps, really :D
Oh! And one of those interesting things at the last we got to play a coin machine that can change 51 cents into collected penny that has a picture on it. I got picture of Sbarro Restaurant. It's really cool lol.
Oh well.. I'd better go to bed now.. otherwise i won't have enough energy for tomorrow. Good night! Love ~ Peace~!!! <3
